Soothsayer Bird
230 X 180 X 120mm
by Dale Copeland, 2002
Private collection
Saying the future is so easy. Child's play.
Time passes, we die.
On the column protruding from the clock face is a sad photo I took
And in the drawer is the real future for that Soothsayer Bird,
and all others: a small collection of bird bones.
