| I took the photo on my 40th birthday. 40 years ago. How time does go by. Water under the bridge. The strange little door (lead, pewter, zinc? I don't know) was looking for its place. Perfect to conceal and protect. And a good fit for the box. When the Form 7 students at the Collage finally left school I asked them if they'd give me the pencil cases they'd made in Form 1 Woodwork classes. After 7 years of being battered, scribbled on, painted and scratched, they've been treasures for me. |
