| We can feel so sure of things. THE - the definite article. And clocks, telling lives/lies to the second. These clocks have no hands, and there's that mystery, the circus-coloured device with 48 sliding parts to keep count. Of something. Important enough to be made, but now no-one knows what it was for. Counting the indefinite so very definitely. |
